1. Who am I?

I am Heather Felton, the person behind this website. If you have any questions about your data, you can reach me at: info@heatherfeltonartwork.co.uk
 

2. What information do I collect?

I only collect the bits of information that help us stay in touch:

• Newsletter Sign-ups: Your name and email address (so I know who I'm saying hello to!).

• Contact Form: Your name, email address, and the message you send me so I can reply to your query.

• Technical Bits: Like most websites, this site (hosted by Wix) automatically collects some "passive" info like your IP address and how you moved around the site. This helps me see which paintings people enjoy looking at most!
   

3. Why do I need it?

I use your information to:

• Send you updates about my latest work (only if you’ve signed up to my newsletter!).

• Answer your questions or chat about my art.

• Make sure my website is working properly.

The Legal Bit: In the UK, I process this data based on your consent (when you tick a box to join a list) or your interest (sending me a query through my contact page).
 

4. How is your data stored?

My website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

I promise I will never sell or rent your email address to third parties.
 

5. How long do I keep it?

• Newsletters: I’ll keep your details as long as you want to hear from me. You can click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email to be removed instantly.

• Queries: I’ll keep contact form messages for 12 months just in case we need to refer back to our conversation.
   

6. Your Rights

In the UK, you have the right to ask me what data I have about you, ask me to change it, or ask me to delete it entirely. Just send me an email and I’ll get it sorted.
 

7. Cookies

This site uses cookies to help it run smoothly. You can usually choose to "Decline" non-essential cookies via the banner on the home page without it affecting your view of my site.
 

8. Updates

I might update this policy every now and then to stay current with new laws or website features. Check back here occasionally!
